More Super Street Fighter 4 Tweaks Revealed by Devs

8
The release of Super Street Fighter IV is a mere 13 days away and the developers have been detailing various changes and tweaks made to returning characters.

Azrael, at Shoryuken.com, has been doing the translations and this week we learn about changes made to C. Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte, Abel, Seth, Akuma, Gouken, and the bosses that players will face in Arcade Mode.

The bosses have been adjusted, making them more powerful than the player-controlled versions and will be much harder on higher difficulty levels. At the same time, the bosses have been toned down on lower difficulty levels so more casual players can defeat them.

There are a lot of interesting details for Street Fighter fans, including a funny bit about Akuma's new Ultra combo: "We made it with the idea that it would be hard to hit, but once you do it'll feel awesome."

Give it a read and I'll see you online on 4/27 when the game is released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Akuma new ultra feel so out of place for this character and why is it hard? looks like you can cancel a srk and nail it no?

btw Brian is there any pointer on when to hit buttons in trials? my friend who is a total newb (worst than me) been bashing the same combos for hours before I explaind him there was a special timing (he dropped the game after).
