Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC Videos Showcase PC Video Editing Functionality

Much like the initial PC release of Grand Theft Auto IV, those that buy the two expansions in either downloadable or standalone retail form will be able to craft and upload short films of their explots thanks to the PC-exclusive Video Editor funtionality.

To illustrate this, developer Rockstar has provided a few sample shorts:

Previously only on Xbox 360 and there priced at $20 each, GTA IV's "The Ballad of Gay Tony" and "The Lost and Damned" downloadable expansions hit PC and PlayStation 3 next week along with a standalone retail compilation of the add-ons dubbed "Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City" that's $29.99 on PC and $39.99 on PlayStation 3.

Two additional video shorts, Lost in the Mix and Cosmonautique, are just below:

Hopefully Steam will have a mega bundle with GTA IV and these add ons. I have GTA IV already but it is on disk and I so don't want to install a game from disk anymore.

Runs flawlessly on my Windows 7 x64 HTPC and desktop. Also bought this for a few friends and family--all of whom run Win 7 x64--during the Steam holiday sale and it runs perfectly stably on their systems.

Sooo... sounds like your GTA IV gremlins are specific to your config.

You have a newer ATI card?
My Windows 7 machine wasn't very happy until I switched to an nVidia GTX260
Was getting crashes, artifacts, vertical line screen of death, etc.
Now it works like a dream.

This is a stand alone game, no need to have GTA IV, installed or otherwise.
