Crackdown 2 is in full effect at PAX East 2010 and Ruffian Games and Microsoft Game Studios are celebrating with some new screenshots.

If you're more of a "show me the game in motion" type of person, Ruffian also has some video footage of some players enjoying a rousing game of "Rocket Tag":

You know, I was really excited for this before Just Cause 2 came out...but now I'm not sure if I'll really need another crazy sandbox shooter for quite a while.

Yeah, but I really liked Crackdown 1, and I don't believe Just Cause 2 has co-op (my favorite game type in any game cause of all the game players in my house), so I will be saving my pennies for this and wait to play Just Cause 2 a little later on.

However, to be fair that video showcased the stupidest game mode I have ever seen (if that is indeed a game mode and not just the devs screwing around).

JC2 doesn't have coop. I think it's going to impact their sales quite a bit. The game would've been a day one purchase for me and several friends if it supported online coop. Now I'm going to just wait until a sale hits.

Saints Row 2 and Mercs 2 have spoiled me horribly. More games need drop-in/out coop action. Favourite mode of play by far. Up to 4 players would be the best thing ever. Shame Crackdown is 360 exclusive.

I was never impressed with the footage but I'll reserve judgment until the demo releases. Its still going to take some good stuff to beat Just Cause 2's sandbox!
