Now known as Tournament of Legends and due to hit North America on May 18, the game appears to have shifted away from graphic depictions of human-on-human combat. Instead, it now features a lineup of mythological figures, such as a minotaur.

Though High Voltage has touted the game's Wii MotionPlus compatibility, today's announcement made no mention of the add-on, instead noting that it can be played with either the Wii Remote and Nunchuk or the more traditional Classic Controller.

No word yet on the fate of the other project High Voltage unveiled alongside Gladiator A.D., the Left 4 Dead-inspired cooperative werewolf and vampire shooter The Grinder.
