The second downloadable add-on for Codemasters' tactical shooter Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is now available on Xbox 360, with PC and PlayStation 3 versions coming "soon," according to the company.

"Overwatch," as the download is called, brings two "game-changing" multiplayer modes: Supremacy and Blindside. In Blindside, "the PLA must complete objectives in the shortest time possible while the USMC defends," while Supremacy sees players trying to "occupy strategically vital positions."

Priced at $5 / 400 Microsoft Points on PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 and "free to download" on PC, the add-on also includes two new Fire Team Engagement missions--Friendly Skies, Hostile Takeover--that further extend the fight against the PLA.

Explains Codemasters of these two new FTE missions:

In Friendly Skies, PLA anti-aircraft artillery prevents US airborne reinforcements inserting into the combat zone. Players must remove that threat and then defend the position from a PLA counter attack. In Hostile Takeover, intel reveals enemy movement in the village of Armudan, a perfect base for launching attacks deep into enemy territory. Gamers must flush out the PLA, establish a perimeter and hold their ground against a new enemy assault.

Hopefully this is one of the games who gets a price slash during the end of year steam sale. The demo was okay but the game is not worth $40 smackaroos.

This game is a POS. No one plays it anymore, if you find a server there is either hackers or it has a ping of 300+. Thank you Code masters for offering up a beta as a game... last cent you will see from me.
