PlayStation 3 Firmware v3.15 Released

6
Revealed just two days ago and then said to be coming "very soon," the PlayStation 3's latest firmware update (v3.15) is now available.

Unlike most other firmware updates, this one is optional, bringing with it the ability for the PlayStation 3 to play PSP "mini" games and easier PS3-to-PS3 data transfer. To download it, go to the "Settings" portion of the system's menu and choose "System Update."

But while the PlayStation 3's "mini" emulator is now ready, the games themselves aren't--Sony previously noted that "the majority of the current minis" are slated to be updated and thus playable on the PlayStation 3 beginning December 17.

I think I need to get a new router because no matter what I do I can't get my PS3 or my 360 to talk to my computer :(

you could use mkv2vob instead, although mkv with subtitles would need to be transcoded since the ps3 only supports subtitles in divx (or AVCHD which behaves odd because it's a bit of a hack)
