Morning Discussion
Of all the games I missed while in subpar PC purgatory, Far Cry 2 was the one I most wanted to play--due in no small part to the constant enthusing of the gang at Idle Thumbs. Thankfully I was not crushed by disappointment as Far Cry 2 has turned out to be amazing. I can see why some would find certain elements frustrating but I am completely and utterly sucked into the game. I even enjoyed swimming for several minutes to bypass a guard post and sneak up on a target. Swimming isn't fun in video games--everybody knows that--yet this was somehow amazing. I'm amazed. Amazing.
Monday rhymes with "fun day." Hold onto that dream.
