Star Wars: The Old Republic Screenshots Unveil 'Imperial Agent' Class

17
The "Imperial Agent" is the sixth class to be revealed for Star Wars: The Old Republic, joining the Trooper, Smuggler, Jedi Knight, Bounty Hunter and Sith Warrior classes.

"The Imperial Agent always has the right tools at the right time," BioWare community manager Sean Dahlberg said of the gadget-heavy class in a forum post. "They use abilities of subversion and subterfuge to infiltrate and assassinate enemies of the Sith Empire with deadly efficiency. Players who choose to be Imperial Agents in The Old Republic will see the underbelly of the Empire in a whole new light."

While BioWare's announcement of the class lacked any screenshots, IncGamers soon rectified the situation. As before, there's been no official word as to when BioWare's anticipated PC MMO will launch or what business model it will use.

Interesting...I was just speculating about the remaining classes with a friend the other day. I never would have guessed this one, it seems a bit too close to the bounty hunter.

        So is Imperial Agent...

It seems like the distinction is that bounty hunters are perhaps a bit more loosely aligned with the Sith, and more about taking someone alive, whereas the agents work directly for the sith and are spies/assassins.

It's not a huge distinction, but I suspect the powersets will be sufficient to make their roles more clear.

Bounty hunter will have heavy armor spy will be more squishy. Bounty hunter will take you head on Spy will die head on and must sneak around and get the drop on people to have a chance. Well if they balance it properly it should be like that. Spy seems to be more tech though ther bounty hunter uses some gadgets they are more offensive it seems spys are more survival oriented..
