Evening Reading: Goodnight, Sweet Prince

It is with a heavy heart that I bid goodbye to Nicholas Breckon, the only constant companion I've had on my two-and-a-half-year journey into the hearts and minds of Shacknews readers.

As has been mentioned several times around these parts, Nick is moving on to a community management position at Fallout 3 developer Bethesda. And though he's gone, I'll never forget the lessons he imparted.

He taught me to be mindful when PR makes odd requests, or when pointing coworkers to a video from college. In his company, I learned to properly enjoy Diablo and that some people will almost always eat pizza with a fork. Perhaps most importantly, he passed along the value of acceptance and biding one's time. He will be missed.
