Codemasters has today announced that its military sim Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising has gone gold, hitting shelves on October 6 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
New screenshots and a trailer released in celebration of the golden news show its mission 'Eagle Offense,' with the objective to seize an enemy-controlled airfield.
Developed not by series creator Bohemia--now developing the ARMA series--but internally at Codemasters, Dragon Rising sports 220 square kilometres of virtual island.
