Bayonetta 'Very Easy Automatic' Mode Brings One-Button Gameplay

Bayonetta's 'Very Easy Automatic' mode will allow novice players to control the wacky witch with a single button, a new developer update from Platinum Games reveals.

The 'punch' button will position Bayonetta and attack, as well as dodging and jumping, though players can manually control her movement and other abilities if they wish.

A patent uncovered in January revealed that Nintendo has thoughts along similar lines, covering a system which would allow players to pass complete control to the game.

Publisher Sega recently delayed the Xbox 360 and PS3 game directed by Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya until January 2010, "to maximize this exciting new title's potential."
