What led to the cross-over feud of Marvel vs. Capcom 2? An accident involving a stack of SNES cartridges, a pile of Marvel comics, and faulty wiring, according to a new trailer.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is being brought to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network in late July for $15 by Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix porter Backbone, based upon the Dreamcast edition of Capcom's fighter, with upscaling filters and online play.

A further two trailers showcase the moves of flagship characters Ryu and Wolverine against inanimate opponents, as well as tag-team turbo powers .

        Which would seem to obviate the need for a showdown thriller. Is there a possibility of a never-ending three-way between Wolverine, Hulk and Juggernaut in this game?
