New Velvet Assassin Screenshots: Stealth and a .45

10
Replay Studios' upcoming stealth-action title Velvet Assassin is shown off in the following screenshots. This one promises to bring a much-needed touch of atmosphere to the World War II genre, as is evidenced in the images.

Inspired by the real-life exploits of British agent Violette Szabo, Velvet Assassin is scheduled to hit the PC and Xbox 360 early this year.

forward/back arrows never show up in the same spot on a picture, in rare cases they don't show up at all

Ugh, yeah. Don't know what to tell you, I'm not involved in that. I stopped using them a while ago.

I've had the black image issue a few times. I'm using Firefox 3.0.5

For the first image the "right" arrow appears just left of the center. For all other images the arrows seem to appear in a consistent place for me (near the left and right edges of the frame).

I figure the first one is like that because there's no "left" arrow in that case. (That said, the last image has both arrows and the "right" arrow does nothing when clicked, so maybe I'm wrong.)

The only issue I sometimes get, that I can remember, is what Trillex mentioned where the images sometimes don't load. I think that only happens when I click links from the front page and I think I can always cure it by then clicking one of the thumbnails below the blank image, after which it's all good professor mike.

          (Firefox 3.0.5, Vista 32-bit.)
