Good news everyone: Maarten didn't die in the Ukraine after all! It turns out his silly cats knocked an ethernet cable loose at home, cutting off access for his remote desktop.

The question is, which one of Maarten's cats was it? He has three, you know. And more importantly, why? Some people think cats are just driven by instinct, but I know better. They're an conniving, manipulative sort that will not rest until they get their way. I know this for a fact. I've infiltrated their organization, been to the meetings. I've seen the plans.

And as the scent of cotton candy mysteriously lingers in my apartment, I can't help but get excited for tonight's roller derby. The season opener and a double header!
