Alongside that Batman: Arkham Asylum, publisher Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for GRIN's Wanted: Weapons of Fate, which takes place after the recent film.

Along with a gratuitous amount of bullet curving action, the trailer presents a look at protagonist Wesley's assassin suit, culled from the comic that inspired the movie.

Previously expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this year, the licensed tie-in has been delayed to Q1 2009, putting its release no later than March 31, 2009.

Chris Faylor was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.

The whole Matrix / Max Payne thing has been done to death... but this trailer does look pretty cool. I liked the book quite a bit... I found the movie weak on background and story, but still very entertaining. I guess this could be good, but they will have to earn my respect on this one.

Yeah, the trailer surprised me. This looks quite neat.

i foresee many quick time moments, or what ever you call those stupid button mashing sequences.
Does anybody even enjoy that crap? I could like it if instead of stupid make one wrong button it would change what happened in the sequence and each wrong button created a slippery slope with more difficult things happening leading to your eventual failure.

It was cool when I first saw them in Shenmue... they are starting to get old now.

It was the shootout in the free falling plane that piqued my interest. Although, if you don't have control of the movement I wouldn't be happy.

you do have control on the plane. I saw some of the game footage on gametrailers tv on spike the other day. The game looks like it should at least warrant a rent.

it isn't exactly bullet time. You can curve bullets around objects to hit people behind cover. they are trying to change up the formula a little bit which should be a good thing in theory.
