Weekly PC Sales: The Spore / WAR Tag Team

The latest PC software sales figures from research firm NPD have arrived, detailing the top 10 best-selling PC games at North American retailers from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, 2008.

As with last week's figures, EA Maxis' Spore and Mythic's Warhammer Online take the top slots, with EA-published titles making up 60% of the overall list.

  3. Civilization IV: Colonization / Firaxis / $29 (Average)
  4. The Sims 2 Apartment Life Expansion Pack / EA Maxis / $29 (Average)
  5. World Of Warcraft: Battle Chest / Blizzard / $39 (Average)
  6. Crysis Warhead / Crytek (Publisher: EA) / $29 (Average)
  7. World Of Warcraft / Blizzard / $20 (Average)
  8. The Sims 2 Double Deluxe / EA Maxis / $30 (Average)
  9. World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade / Blizzard / $29 (Average)
  10. Spore Creature Creator / EA Maxis / $10 (Average)

      I just think that only certain people at EA should cease to exist. Much like any other publisher.

      I like EA games, this probably makes me a noob, or fail, or something else that I don't fully understand but worry may affect me in later life.

      EA is a much better company than they used to be, IMO.

      Seriously? If EA didn't exist what games would we have on the top ten...and what...would they have 2 game sales?
