A representative of Crackle.com, a web-based entertainment network, revealed that a new trailer for 3D Realms' long-awaited shooter Duke Nukem Forever will premiere on the first episode of the Jace Hall Show, to be broadcast on Crackle's home page and Xbox Live.

Though an exact launch date for the Jace Hall Show—helmed by former Monolith Studios founder and CEO Jason Hall— was not confirmed, 3D Realms community manager Joe Siegler said on the company's official forums that the show is rumored to debut on June 4.

George Broussard of 3D Realms, the developer of Duke Nukem Forever has added this:

I have no knowledge of any new trailer. I'd tell you if I did.

This is something we did for Jason months ago and it's not quite going to be what you expect. We didn't want him unveiling the game at that point so the piece was done as a favor for Jason, who we've known for 15 years.

I just don't want people getting too excited over this. The teaser trailer in Dec was about all the teasing we'd planned on. We weren't sure when, or if, this show would ever appear. I look forward to seeing what Jason did with the show. I can promise you that the next time you see the game it'll be in substantial form.

Shacknews has also contacted a representative of Crackle for clarification, but has not heard back as of this writing. Thanks to avatar_58 for the heads up.
