Sierra Online announced today that it will bring the award-winning card game Lost Cities to the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade platform this spring, and unveiled six screens of the upcoming title. Crafted by acclaimed board game designer Reiner Knizia, Lost Cities is built for two players and tasks competitors to play cards in strategic sequences to score points. The game is the latest addition to Xbox Live Arcade's burgeoning card game genre, which includes Carbonated Games' Uno and an upcoming Gin Rummy title.

Due for release in the spring, Lost Cities will be priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

Yeah, it's fun. It's very simple, but it's a good time.

Quick game that plays in bite-size rounds -- not deep, but it has a deck-management aspect that isn't immediately apparent. I imagine a lot of people will slag it for being a no-brainer, either because they miss the bits of gaminess that it does have, or because they're expecting it to be something it's not. It's a game that I've liked to play while talking or watching something, which might not translate well to "HD next gen gaming" up on the big screen, but still kinda cool to see someone doing this translation.
