Just Cause 2 Heads to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360

Avalanche Studios has started talking about the sequel to its third-person open island title Just Cause (PC, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360), which will be published by Eidos and is slated to arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

"You'll begin the game with nothing but your Cuban heels and a winning smile," explained lead designer Peter Johansson. "We wanted to make better use of our huge game world, enhance the stunts, improve the combat and reward exploration more."

Word of the PlayStation 3 version comes from CVG's coverage of magazine PSW's preview, while the existence of the Xbox 360 edition was confirmed by NeoGAF's ever-reliable snoopers, who noted a similar preview in France's Official Xbox Magazine.

A PC version is also possible, though it has not been officially announced.

I actually enjoyed this game. It was fun to run around and do stupid things with cars and parachutes. There was a lot of room for improvement so this will probably be a good thing. I just hope they tone down the bloom a little

I want pc game that you can use a Joystick/gamepad type device as the keyboard version for PC was horrible.
It can be done as gamepads do have all the buttons needed now you buy a xbox 360 controller for it. but most ps2 style sticks have all the buttons etc they need. so it can be done.

It was a good game and I got it for free with £2.95 postage from tiscali member offers so not to bad LOL.

agreed on all points. the first game would have been great if it just had more polish, it was still classic arcade fun.

It got a bit repetive though. It was almost TOO open with little direction and a meh story. Kinda amateurish IMO despite the impressive tech.
