Resident Evil: Degeneration Trailer Released

13
The first trailer for Resident Evil: Degeneration has infected the internet, providing the general public with its first look at the Capcom-helmed CG film.

Based on the footage, which features series mainstays Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy, the events of the movie appear set within the confines of the established Resident Evil mythology, instead of deviating from it as Paul W.S. Anderson's live-action trilogy did.

Resident Evil: Degeneration is due out in 2008. Though Capcom has yet to specify if it will first be released in theaters or if it will go straight to retail, the involvement of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment strongly suggests the latter.

That looks pretty badass, much better than the still shots I had seen before.

It looks like a cutscene, same crappy animation and all.

What's the point? They couldn't even pull of a live action one well? You know who would make a good resident evil movie? Edgar wright, just get him, probably cost a lot less too then any of the ones they made.
