Sony Names Composer for Afrika Project

Announced at E3 2006 with a short video shown at this year's Tokyo Game Show, Rhino Studios' Afrika (PS3) has been kept under close wraps by Sony. The game is still apparently in development, as Sony recently picked Los Angeles-based composer Wataru Hokoyama to orchestrate the game's score, according to 1up.

The site learned of Hokoyama's involvement through a local Los Angeles musicians' newsletter. The composer's orchestrator credits include 2000's role-playing game movie adaptation "Dungeons & Dragons," starring Jeremy Irons.

Afrika is thought by some to be a Pokemon Snap-like safari, although most information on the game at this point is fairly speculative, being based on the few images and videos available.
