Rock Band DLC Revealed: Police, Bowie, Radiohead, Sabbath, Metallica, More

37
Potentially crushing concerns that Harmonix would quickly fail to live up to its promise of weekly downloadable content for its upcoming Rock Band (PS2, PS3, X360), a huge slate of planned music has been revealed in the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine. Dozens of songs are specified, some to be sold individually and some in packs.

Artists and tracks be made available post-release include The Police ("Roxanne"), David Bowie ("Queen Bitch"), Radiohead ("My Iron Lung"), Black Sabbath ("Sweet Leaf"), Metallica, Weezer ("Buddy Holly"), The Ramones ("Rockaway Beach"), The Clash ("I Fought the Law"), Credence Clearwater Revival ("Fortunate Son"), Foreigner, The Knack, The Runaways, Wolfmother, T-Rex, The Pretenders, and Buzzcocks, a couple of whom are featured in the standard shipping version of Rock Band.

There's some crossover to the competing Guitar Hero series as well. Queens of the Stone Age's "3s and 7s" is in Neversoft's just-released Guitar Hero III, while Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" was in Harmonix's own Guitar Hero II--though presumably it's a different cover this time around.

All of the songs revealed in the magazine are expected to be released within "the first few months" of Rock Band's release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which occurs November 20 in North America.

For the full list of tracks, read on. Tracks marked with an asterisk (*) are cover recordings, while others are original master recordings.

I think it's Little Sister, not Little Sisters, by Queens of the Stone Age (Google has my back on this one)
