Sam & Max Season Two Unveiled
Freelance police Sam & Max are back for another season of episodic adventuring, developer Telltale Games has officially confirmed. It was known that the company would return for another round with the duo, but today marks the first release of new assets.
Specific plot points from the first episode, due out this fall, were not discussed, but Telltale did reveal a list of features planned for the upcoming season: a new driving game with an upgradeable car, mini-games for each episode, a character-based hint system, and more dynamic NPCs. Hard-bitten private eye Flint Paper, a recurring character from Steve Purcell's Sam & Max comics, can also be briefly seen in the cinematic trailer released today.
More information regarding Season Two, which again partners with online game service GameTap, will be released soon.
