BioWare Austin Licenses HeroEngine

Simutronics sends along this press release, announcing that BioWare Austin has opted to use the company's HeroEngine for its first MMORPG. The engine is also being used by Simutronic's own Hero's Journey.

    holy shit simu is still working on HJ. I remember I used to play a very good MUD they made called Dragonrealms.

      I was a Gemstone player way back in the day. I remember that HJ was cancelled but I guess they got some funding.

      LOL I wasted a ton of my parent's money on their mech game Cyberstrike back in the day on GEnie - was suprised to see the name around still.

        Cyberstrike 2 was the shit. It (multiplayer) was a brilliant and unique gameplay mechanic that I would love to see used again in some form. Even the singleplayer was quite fun.
