May be an old question but - anyone else find it odd that there's so many bugs still being fixed in the game?

Given how intensively the game is played in certain parts of the world? No. The fixes are pretty esoteric (or alternatively, mundane like rewording bits).

      Not really.

Most games have this many (or more) bugs in them after this long. The difference is Blizzard actually fixes the problems, whereas other companies tend to abandon their games relatively quickly.

yeah - I was wondering if perhaps it was because in 1998 playing online is nowhere near as big as it is today so only with the recent explosion in Korea do they have the impetus to fix issues no one could have foreseen back then.

No different than Micorsoft coming out with fix after fix every month for a several year old operating system.
