Valve News Update

A new Steam news update is now available, offering a screenshot from the Day of Defeat: Source level Argentan that Valve is working on. The news item also mentions "Coming soon, we'll have news about a new game that's coming to Steam before the end of the year. We're looking forward to giving people a chance to check it out.".

      Strike commander took 9 hours to install on my 33mhz 386, and ran like shit :) , but it rocked. Flight sim with story ftw.

  As I believe valve has actually said before, technically, when they say "the end of the year", they're not specifying which year. So yes they could mean this year, or next year, or even some other year further down the line.
