New ForceWare Release

NVidia has released new ForceWare drivers for the GeForce range of videocards, adding support for the GeForce 6500 and optimizing SLI support. Full release notes are here.

    I really don't understand what these drivers are, not to sound like a idiot but are these the drivers i should be using, for some reason i keep thinking they were called something diffrent other then forceware drivers

      They used to be called Detonators... But they renamed them a while ago. These are the ones I use for my FX5900 at least. And everyone (from GF4 and up?) should be using these nowadays.

        i thought these were basically drivers for every nvidia card, not just from gf4. i use these on my gf3.

          These drivers will work for everything, but for older hardware older drivers might be better optimized. I think that's what SilverSnake meant.

            78.03 beta's are on nzone.com and a ton better, these 78.01's have some shimmering issues w/ geforce 7 series cards
