As part of their 10 years of DOOM coverage, GameSpy has posted a Q&A with id's Tim Willits & Kevin Cloud as well as one with John Romero. Kevin & John are asked about development of the original game, and Tim talks about DOOM 3.

GameSpy: Is DOOM 3 a game that you think hardcore DOOM fans will embrace?
Tim Willits: Hardcore fans of the original game will definitely embrace DOOM 3. The key to the original game was the emotions that gamers felt while playing -- the fear, excitement, and adrenaline.
