Splinter Cell PC Graphics

For a while, there was the impression that the PC version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell would be scaled down graphically compared to the Xbox version. This to support the older 3D accelerators. Not the case anymore, as PC.IGN got in contact with Ubi Soft and they acknowledged that PC version has been reworked and now has the exact same graphical features as the Xbox version.
Worried that this may be exclusive to GeForce FX purchasers, we asked whether this only applied to some kind of OEM package deal, or whether or not only certain NVIDIA cards would be capable of exploiting the game to its fullest potential. No, we were told. Splinter Cell will be Xbox perfect so long as you have the next-generation video card to handle it, whatever video card that may be (Radeon, GeForce, Parhelia, Xabre even).
Feel free to post your impressions of the Xbox version in this thread as well.
