Warcraft3 Single Player
GameSpy offers up a rare look at the single player side of things
in the upcoming Warcraft3. We've seen dozens of previews and countless screenshots of the
multiplayer stuff. It seems the hip new thing to do is side quests which many of you
probably recognize from GTA3:
One of the key RPG elements is side quests, Pardo said. These give the player a break from what can be linear gameplay. The player is under no obligation to take on these quests, but accomplishing them can bring a useful piece of treasure, or make the missions easier to complete. The player can destroy any buildings or crates in the game in the hopes of finding treasure or magic items.
