Just when you thought NVidia didnt want benchmarks of the GeForce256 getting out, GameCenter releasees their GeForce256 preview which features just that, benchmarks. Check out these numbers from a P3-600:

Quake III Test Demo 1 640 by 480, 16-bit 82.6 81.1
Quake III Test Demo 1 640 by 480, 32-bit 79.6 77.9
Quake III Test Demo 1 1,024 by 768, 16-bit 70.2 47.5
