Medal of Honor GONE GOLD!

Electronic Arts has just announced that Medal of Honor: Allied Assault has gone gold. There is quite a bit of information available on the game from a playable demo to a buttload of screenshots of the game. Here's the mail from EA:

Click to enlargeThe game will be available in stores on January 22, 2002. Medal of Honor Allied Assault for the PC features over 30 levels of fully realized 3-D worlds in which the player must accomplish specific objectives and goals in order to succeed and advance.  Medal of Honor Allied Assault carries an ESRB rating of "T" for Teen and a MSRP of US$49.99.

Update: To clarify: this comes directly from EA's PR department, not some unreliable third party source. If EA says the game's gold, it is.
