Looks like Jason was unable to do console news last night. Instead of letting you wait until tonight though, here's some news that I saw. Of course I'm no match for the console king Jason, but hey something is better than nothing :)
The big news is that Sony finally announced some online gaming plans. At this time they are only working on a plan in Japan along with NTT but they are looking for partners in Europe in the U.S.
There are some first details and screenshots of a new Tasmanian Devil game on Gamespot. "Taz Wanted" is a 3D action platform game appearing on the PS2, Xbox and PC.
Also on Gamespot is the news that James Pond - Codename Robocod will be brought back on the GBA. This game originally appeared on the Sega Genesis and SNES and this new Game Boy Advance version will have enhanced graphics and should be out by late 2002.
PS2.IGN has a preview of the new Test Drive game with new screenshots from this street racing game.
