Final Fantasy Box Office
Looks like the general audience doesn't care for a "HyperReal CGI" production, as preliminary box office numbers show Final Fantasy at a 4th place this weekend, below Legally Blonde and The Score and even behind Cats & Dogs which opened July 4 already. With just $11.5 million in the first weekend (Tomb Raider had more than $40 million) it doesn't look like Square will see much of the $140+ million production returned from the US market.
