We missed this one yesterday but it's pretty interesting reading. Have a look at
this in depth analysis of
the DOOM
video that was released
way back when. Basically it's someone pointing out a lot of the engine effects that can be
confirmed about the game and giving some background of what they are and what they can do.
Moving lights,
highlights, bumpmaps, enemies, NURBSs... everything´s here and working. The ability to
move lights and sound (like Devine said in QuakeCon2K) is present here.
