Not to be outdone by CNET, UGO has confirmed in this report by Gamers.com (fresh and in your
face!) and UGO.com
that they are also trimming back their outgoing cash to affiliates. Why should you guys
care? Because Shugashack is a UGO affiliate.
In what it says is a move to ensure profitability, UGO Networks is renegotiating the contracts it has with its many affiliate sites, which will result in either less money for the affiliates, or possible litigation due to breach of contract.
Yes, we are taking a $ cut here, certainly in no danger of going under. With what UGO has done for Shack in particular probably means more of a profit than before in the near future. Sucks for the short term though.
