Ever since Wario struck out on his own game style with Mega Micro Games, the character has been Nintendo's window to lightly parody happenings in the industry. Now that crowdfunding is all the rage, Nintendo has kicked off a promotion for Game & Wario taking a jab at the trend with the utterly juvenile (but character-appropriate) "Crowdfarter."

Deep Silver and Rubicon Organization have announced Narco Terror, a downloadable twin-stick shooter coming to PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 this summer. It centers around Rick Quinn, an ex-special ops agent, as he plows through a drug cartel that kidnapped his daughter.

The storied saga of 38 Studios' closure seems all but finished, with only a few loose threads left to tie up. One of those is what the state of Rhode Island will do with its stake in the properties, and the state is now reportedly planning to sell off the Amalur franchise. An attorney says that Rhode Island has found an interested party.

Like any console on the verge of announcement, the Next Xbox has been rife with rumors for months. Some are more persistent than others, but as time has passed without official word from Microsoft, the console has gained a very distinct image in the collective minds of the Internet. This isn't necessarily what the console will be, but it's what the Internet thinks it will be. Starting tomorrow, we get to discover just how close the rumors were to the reality.
