I gotta say, I thought this game kicked ass. With everything set at medium, it ran perfectly smoothly on my rig. Better than Oblivion did. The load times were definitely long, but the reload after you died was pretty quick.

The graphics, gameplay, and voice acting were top notch. Right up there with Half Life 2. It took some practice to get the controls down, since there are some features I've never seen before. But once I did, I had a blast. Best western game ever.

I'm getting weird triangular textures when the level starts. My whole screen fills with colored triangles. Anyone familiar with how to fix this?

I played the demo and got pretty disapointed. The game is to slow and my machine is very good for Doom3, Quake 4, FEAR, Half-Life2 and Counter-Strike Source. If the real game is going to be so slow, it will be a shame.
All the elements of this game are awesome. Old-West environment. I hope they do a faster driver or I can sleep waiting the caracter moves around.

I got a virus warning while installing this. I scanned the demo after installing and F-secure anti-virus found a Type_Win32 virus in 3 DLL-files.

But according to this the virus warning I got could be false.

"F-Secure Anti-Virus analyzes scanned files and gives warnings if it finds suspicious code inside. In some cases the heuristic engine can give false alarms."

I guess I need to close anti-virus if I wish to play this.

- This is the version overdosed on flash. First, it has to "load the interface", but after it does and actually lets you get anywhere, it then wants to load a mini-game. At that point, I got bored and left. WTF? I just want the damn info, not an "experience".

Loading times aren't that bad. It's better to have one long loading at the beginning of the level than many smaller ones that happen everytime you enter a building.

call of hurez is a shooting game, it has revolvers and you can use your leg to kick doors or your hand to open stuff, that's how you get your guns, the loading time is long and there are actually 2 loading screens, it makes my computer look old and outdated and even at 1023x758 it was running slow, moving mouse cursor felt clunkly but max payne bullet time was cool and I was able to get to the sheriff's place and then i got killed and didn't want to reload because 2 loading screen, also i couldn't climb stuff, i had to use my hands to move boxes to the wall, but i could see my feet when i looked down.

Anyone else noticed they lifted the Episode 3 intro from Pulp Fiction?

seemed like 3-4 min for me (2.8ghz 7800GS OC). autosaves were like 10 seconds, so it was only that first load time

anyone else get any weirdness when installing this? I got a "Date Execution Prevention" warning & had to set DEP to allow this...hope i didnt screw up :(

Hm wtf rls a a demo now when its 6 months away ? This game or demo is very demanding it think its stupid of em to release something like that..

They really need to work on the load times, in BF2 I can beat just about any shacker to the map due to my Diskeeper'd Hitachi Desktar + 2GB or RAM, but this, this take foreeeever!

So does it sit at a black screen for a while when you first try to load it, or does it have a traditional splash screen to let you know it's doing something. I've tried to launch it several times and don't get anything except a solid black screen. I don't hear any hard drive work happening either. :(

Good thing I decided to postpone downloading the german demo.

Oh damn... the game itself isn't that bad, but the horrible loading times and the cheesy atmosphere (in a bad way) don't do it for me.
In my opinion the voice actors are pretty bad, too, but I don't consume german media that much anymore, so maybe I'm mistaken.
Too bad, i hoped it could be something I'd be able to enjoy.
