According to Mattes, "The Dark Prince is a 'corrupt' version of the Prince who has been infected by the Sands of Time." He's a manifestation of the darker traits of the prince, such as ruthlessness. And ruthless is something the Dark Prince can do very well. He is very violent, and takes a lot of pleasure in excessive brutality. The DP adds to the dynamic of the prince's character because though he is viewed as a separate entity, he is still the prince himself. The prince will have to learn to control his darker emotions, or else fall prey to them.
As different as they may be, Dark Prince and the Prince do share common goals: to discover the identity of whoever is responsible for attacking Babylon and stealing their throne. Dark Prince "will often provide the Prince with advice and direction, helping to keep him focused on the mission at hand."

also, NO ONE COMPLAINED that there were TOO MANY PUZZLES/PLATFORMS in SoT, only that the combat was boring. That doesn't mean MORE combat, that just means a majority of platforming and puzzles with really good combat breaks.
they don't seem to understand what it is that everyone wants, sadly.

Sorry, but this sounds like a really nice way of saying ...
Hey Kids! Stealth missions are popular right? We think so. Hope you like sneaking around and staying within areas that don't trigger events. Don't know what areas those are? No worries, after 10 attempts at trying to traverse the same area we're sure you'll pick it up. Have Fun!

How many people actually played Warrior Within the whole way through, or at least made it to the 2nd or 3rd Boss battle?
And David can you find out / comment on one small thing for me (which I didn't see mentioned in your article): How does the SAVE GAME system work this time around?
Like PoP: SoT's?
Or like PoP: WW's?
WW's was flawed because, like some other games -- FarCry : Instincts, another Ubi game, comes to mind -- it relies on you to always enter the correct date/time when you start your XBOX up each time.
So if you don't your save games are a mess, and it is near impossible to pick up where you left off. I've got about 20 saved games in WW and as they are listed in order from date -- and all of the dates are set to 11/15/2001 -- and since there is that time portal thing in WW that allows you to retrace your steps -- it is impossible for me to tell where I am.
That was my only real complaint with WW.
