So after struggling with some stability problems for a while it seems I found the culprit. I didnt even notice that the Antec Sonata case (which is great) ships with a bit wimpy 380w power supply. Apparently this isnt quite enough clean juice to power a 6800GT and an Athlon64 when paired up with 2-2-2-5 ram. With the new power supply I can actually now even overclock my 6800GT to 420/1.12 speeds and run perfectly stable. Shocking... and fast! woo!
