So we've had countless confirmed reports of Half-Life 2 now showing up on shelves of a number of different major retailers. The ones that we've heard the most reports from are BestBuy, Target, and Wal-Mart. We have also had sporadic reports of gaming shops like EB and GameStop although that seems to be a lot more spotty.

The problem right now of course is although you can buy the game early, it is not possible to 'unlock' the game right now. Given that multiple retailers have chosen to break the street date though you dont need us to tell you something is up. Whenever there is more information to report on the situation we'll have it here.
