First Post!
Been playing some Rise of Nations finally, and I like it so far. Graphically it doesn't offer much, but the familiar gameplay is there and that's good enough for me. The economy and research, as well as the turn based parts before each mission are kinda interesting but don't really add all that much. Some nasty hard locks so far though, and some weird bugs too even after patching.

We'll be using Teamspeak 2 again (see Crimsonbeak's post here: http://www.shacknews.com/ja.zz?id=7835820 ). Please use it, even if only to listen to other players, and please split into team channels (Allies and Axis).
Last night's Shackbattle was great. However, the high ticket count seems to cause some people to lose interest after a while. Still, there were some great fights. I LOVE TANKS.
I'm still planning on holding a contest today for a copy of BF1942. I just can't figure out how to work in the economics angle....Give me a little while to figure it out.
