Apparently It's daily now! Edition
Yesterday on the shack -- quite a lot of people (including me) mentioned that they hadn't played DF for some time, because of huge backlog of games or the rapid and unstable development of the game, with lots of bugs being introduced etc. All that incoherent rambling got me thinking - Shack Succession Fort! It would be a great way to come back to the game for the veterans and would hopefully get some people over here try out the game, as it's not that impenetrable as everyone believes it to be.
For those not that well versed in the Dwarf fortress slang, succession fort means that a player spends only one in-game year on the fort and then passes it (the save game) off to the next person in the list of people who have signed up, to play for another year and so on, until the fort dies or no one wants to play it anymore. Hopefully all the rulers of the fort would bother to do little write ups of their year for the amusement of the shack.
Here's the most famous succession fort that I know of, it's quite a good read actually, so give it a try.

So what do you think shack? Would anyone actually want to do this?
