I had totally forgotten that Gamepro covered PC games!
Army Men Air Attack / Ballistic Reviews
- http://scans.roushimsx.com/Gamepro_1999_12_pg172.jpg
This one is mostly notable because it was the US release of "Puzz Loop", a game that would later get cloned by a little known casual game maker called PopCap, where it'd blow up in popularity under the name "Zuma". Without permission from Mitchell, of course. Mitchell has since released a Puzz Loop title on DS under the name "Magnetica".
Also, Army Men Air Attack was a lot of fun.
Resident Evil 2 (N64)

I only scanned this in for two reasons:
1) Amazing technical accomplishment on the port.
2) Rebecca Chambers pedo bait photo
Rainbow Six (N64) / Rocket: Robot on Wheels Reviews
- http://scans.roushimsx.com/Gamepro_1999_12_pg188.jpg
Rocket: Robot on Wheels is one of my favorite games on the N64 and was called out by Gamespy back in '04ish as being one of the most underrated games of all time (or something similar). Awesome physics-based puzzle platformer that was totally ahead of its time. The developers went on to make the Sly Cooper trilogy and are now working on the Infamous series. GO GO SUCKER PUNCH! :D
Toy Commander Review
- http://scans.roushimsx.com/Gamepro_1999_12_pg196.jpg
God, I loved Toy Commander so much. The intro showed a little boy running around with a plane in his hand, making engine noises or something, the camera moved in, the boy disappeared, and then it was all just toy on toy combat. An entire game of toy war taking place throughout a house happening inside of a kid's imagination. So fucking cool. Controls were a little touchy and there were some devilishly hard levels, but on the whole it was a hella unique and fun title. Came from No Cliche, a team founded by Frédérick Raynal and members of Adeline Software (Twinsen's Adventure / Twinsen's Odyssey).

I loved the shit out of this game!
Grandia Review
- http://scans.roushimsx.com/Gamepro_1999_12_pg232.jpg
I wanted this game to come out so badly in the US for the Saturn. Thankfully, it got ported over to the Playstation and we wound up getting that released in the US, but back in the day, this was the RPG wet dream of Sega fanboys all over the net. Oh, if only we could get Grandia, those Final Fantasy chumps would finally see who the boss is! Hrm. :(
Shadow Tower Review
- http://scans.roushimsx.com/Gamepro_1999_12_pg234.jpg
Shadow Tower was a dark offshoot from the King's Field series. It wound up getting a sequel of its own in Japan on the PS2 a few years later, but we never got it in the US. There's some fans working on a translation of it, but who knows when that will be released. Demon's Souls would spin off as an evolution of the gameplay from the Shadow Tower series (particularly Shadow Tower Abyss).
Zelda Gaiden / Super Mario RPG2 / Earthbound 3 Previews

I don't recall seeing some of those Earthbound 3 shots before, but it's been a long time since I paid attention to the N64 and 64DD promo stuff.
....and that's all I have to upload for right now. :(
