In spite of having already announced it, Konami sent Shacknews a press release with the headline: KONAMI ANNOUNCES ZONE OF THE ENDERS HD COLLECTION. Hmm.
As already revealed by Konami, the Zone of the Enders HD Collection includes remastered versions of the two main Zone of the Enders games for PS3 and Xbox 360. The Collection will also include The 2nd Runner, content not seen in the States before.

Kojima Productions has been completely committed to the Metal Gear Solid cause for the past several years. Back in the beginning of the PlayStation 2 era, though, they created what appeared to be the beginning of another interesting series built around giant mech combat with Zone of the Enders (Z.O.E.) and its sequel Zone of the Enders: the 2nd Runner. There's finally been some buzz around the games again of late, with Hideo Kojima revealing plans for a Zone of the Enders HD Collection remake of both games due in 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Konami's Hideo Kojima has revealed HD collections for three of its most beloved franchises: Metal Gear Solid, Zone of the Enders, and Silent Hill.
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will come to both the Xbox 360 and PS3 and include Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Strangely, the original Metal Gear Solid is absent from the collection. The game had previously been revamped for release on the GameCube by developer Silicon Knights in Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes. The Metal Gear Solid Collection is scheduled to arrive this November.
