That new mystery game coming from Trine developer Frozenbyte in 2011 is a proper sequel to the physics-powered puzzle-platformer, publisher Atlus revealed today.
The announcement was contained within "Atlus' E3 2010 Lineup", which also offered word of a new title from Zeno Clash maker ACE Team dubbed "Rock of Ages." No word yet on the specific platforms for either game, though Zeno Clash hit PC and Xbox 360 while Trine is available on PC and PlayStation 3. Read more »

The enhanced Xbox 360 edition of ACE Team's first-person brawler Zeno Clash will be available as an Xbox Live Arcade download on May 5, publisher Atlus has confirmed.
The game, originally due in March, is billed as the "Ultimate Edition" as it packs a number of changes and improvements over the PC original, including balance tweaks, new weapons and a two-player co-op mode playable both online and via split-screen. Read more »

The Xbox 360 'Ultimate Edition' expanded port of ACE Team's fine first-person face-puncher Zeno Clash will feature a mode pitting players against the clock and their friends as well as the twisted foes, publisher Atlus has revealed with a new trailer.
Players of the new 'Zeno Rush' mode will have to defeat various sections of the game in as short a time as possible, with their scores published for all their Live pals to see. The new 'Timehammer' weapon will also set the clock back slightly as it breaks faces. Read more »

Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition developer ACE Team has released a new trailer giving a complete look at the Xbox Live Arcade revamp of its fine first-person fisticuffs title, following two trailers focused solely on its new attacks and new weapons.

The Xbox 360 port of ACE Team's excellent Zeno Clash will feature more than new attacks and co-op for the challenge levels, a new trailer reveals, there'll also be a smattering of new weapons for the surreal first-person face-puncher.
Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition is slated to hit Xbox Live Arcade on March 30.
It's still unclear whether the improvements will also be added to the original PC version. ACE Team is also currently developing Zeno Clash 2, which is due to introduce "open ended gameplay with large explorable environments and RPG elements." Read more »

ACE Team's first-person face-puncher Zeno Clash will hit Xbox Live Arcade in a "vastly enhanced and much improved" Ultimate Edition, publisher Atlus has announced.
Multiplayer will arrive with cooperative play for the Tower Challenge gauntlet mode, and "New modes, new features and added content" as well as "a series of improvements based on fan feedback" are promised for the "definitive version" of ACE's surreal fighter. Read more »

ACE Team today announced that free content for its unique first-person action title Zeno Clash will be released this weekend, alongside a half-off sale of the downloadable game.
The content, titled "The Pit," will contain three combat-intensive challenge levels "where gravity is the enemy and taking a wrong step can be fatal." The challenges, said to feature "destructible floors and traps," will be supported with leaderboards and achievements. Read more »

Independent developer ACE Team has revealed that it is in discussions to bring its fantastical first-person shooter-brawler hybrid Zeno Clash (PC) to the Xbox 360.
"We've been having conversations about a possible XBLA version of the game and we're currently talking with a publisher, but we still haven't closed that yet," studio co-founder Carlos Bordeu told Eurogamer. "But it's something we'd really like to do." Read more »

If you saw the sales charts from last week, then you've got a pretty good idea of what to expect from the latest listings. On the retail side, NPD reports that some games swapped positions in the US, but there weren't any new additions or subtractions.
As for Direct2Drive, the digital distribution outlet saw three games replaced in the top ten, with ACE Team's first-person brawler Zeno Clash debuting in the top spot. Read more »

A downloadable demo for ACE Teams' Zeno Clash (PC) is now available on Steam, enabling players to sample portions of the recently-released first-person brawler.
The demo includes a part of the single-player campaign and the first Challenge tower. At present, the $19.99 title is distributed exclusively through Steam, though a Steam download code can also be purchased from online retailer Direct2Drive. Read more »

Zeno Clash designer Andres Bordeu has told Shacknews about ACE Team's plans for the first-person puncher post-release, including an SDK and downloadable content.
"We're planning on releasing DLC and releasing a compatible SDK so users can edit levels and other assets" said Bordeu, confirming details in a foreign-language interview with LagZero. No release date is scheduled yet but "it shouldn't take us very long." Read more »
