Veteran English indie Team17 Software has latched onto Good Old Games, infesting the digital distributor with its classic Worms United and Alien Breed. They're the first spawn of a relationship that'll see more Team17 games bursting forth from GOG, including Superfrog and World Rally Fever.

Team17's annelid warfare game Worms has today arrived in the iTunes App Store, bringing turn-based wacky mayhem to your hands and pockets for a mere $4.99.
The 75.2MB download packs 50 challenges, 6 environments and custom music support. Multiplayer is planned to arrive in Bluetooth form first, then online later. Read more »

Today's PlayStation Store update brings PS3 owners a smattering of new offerings, including the zombie-shooting antics of doublesix's Burn Zombie Burn ($10), the invertebrate strategy of Team 17's Worms ($13), and some new Resistance 2 maps.

Update: Microsoft has made the price cuts official and the games' lower prices appear in Xbox Live Marketplace.
