Microsoft has once again outlined the next two weeks of Xbox Live Marketplace Arcade games, discounts, Games on Demand, and other assorted goodies.

Halo: Reach delivered digitally through Games on Demand will be $49.99 for one week only, starting today, no doubt to promote the launch of the Defiant Map Pack. And if you love Batman but don't yet own Arkham Asylum, you don't exist -- but the game is getting a price drop to $29.99 starting today anyway. Read more »

PlayStation Store Update Brings Worms 2: Armageddon, Space Invaders, Sales

This week's PlayStation Store update has a nice amount of content loaded in it including Worms 2: Armageddon ($14.99) and Space Invaders Infinity Gene ($9.99). Additionally, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ($4.99) and Castlevania Chronicles ($2.99) are on sale as part of the PlayStation 15th Anniversary PSone Classics sale.

Your PS3 demos are NBA 2K11, FIFA Soccer 11, Worms 2: Armageddon, and Space Invaders Infinity Gene, which join Move-required demos for EyePet and Racquet Sports. Read more »

Worms 2: Armageddon 'Battle Pack' DLC Released

Ferrets, termites and a new campaign are among the goodies in Worms 2: Armaggedon's 'Battle Pack' downloadable content, which was released today on Xbox 360.

Costing 400 Microsoft Points ($5), the Battle Pack packs six new weapons and utilities, ten new forts, a thirty-level Deathmatch campaign, a new singleplayer mode, new customisation elements including voices and hats, and "enhanced landscape themes" plus, of course, more achievements for you to covet. Xbox Live Arcade Gets King of Fighters '98 This Week, Worms 2 Too

Microsoft has announced this week's Xbox Live Arcade release schedule, confirming that SNK's The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match will hit the Xbox 360's online marketplace alongside Team17's Worms 2: Armageddon this Wednesday, July 1.

Both are priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10), with Worms 2 offering a number of new weapons and options while King of Fighter '98 updates the classic fighter and its 64-character roster with support for two-person online multiplayer over Xbox Live.

Worms 2 Arriving on Xbox Live Arcade Next Week

Continuing its unrelenting dedication to the long-running invertebrate battle series, developer Team17 has announced that Worms 2: Armageddon--the official sequel to the 2007 Xbox Live Arcade edition of Worms--will be available on Xbox 360 come July 1.
