Shaba Studios, the developer responsible for Spider-man: Web of Shadows, was shut down today by owner Activision according to several reports.
Though the doors of the San Francisco-based studio were closed, Kotaku put the number of terminated employees at just 30 out of the 61-strong team.

From publisher Activision comes the latest trailer of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Originally debuted at Comic-Con, the trailer details the game's backstory and offering a brief glimpse at fan-favorite Wolverine's appearance in the game.
Web of Shadows is expected to release this fall on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, PC, Nintendo DS, and PSP, with the various versions handled by Shaba Games, Treyarch, Amaze and Aspire. Read more »

Publisher Activision has released new footage from Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, showing off the title's retooled combat system.
Developed by Treyarch, Shaba Games, Amaze and Aspire, Web of Shadows is planned for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, PC, Nintendo DS, and PSP. No release date has yet been announced.

Activision announced that the legendary comic hero Spider-Man is set to return in Spider-Man: Web of Shadows (PC, PS2, PS3, X360, Wii, NDS, PSP), developed by Shaba Games and Treyarch.
According to IGN, Web of Shadows will see Spider-Man's return to a free-roaming, open-ended New York that combines web slinging with customizable powers, with an emphasis on vertical combat as well as traditional ground-based assaults on foes. Read more »
