Learn how to fish, cook, etc.
Go to a trainer and learn the basics. Once you're done with the basic learning, open your ability book. The ability you learned should be there. Drag the ability to your action bar. Once there, click on it and it will probably say what kind of items you need or where to go. REMEMBER: You must have the correct weapons to do this. For example, for fishing you will need a Fishing Rod; and for Mining you will need a Mining Pick. From there, once you reach a certain level in your abilities you can upgrade your weapons.

Leveling Up Faster
When you reach lvl 20, start doing quests you find, they level a lot faster than fighting monsters and gets you more money.

How to Make Gold in a Low Level Area
Entry Location: Desolace. If you travel to Shadowprey Village in Desolace (Horde town, but Alliance can easily get past that), and you go out in the water and dive, you will find lots of cages on the bottom. These cages contains pretty often a Big Iron Fishing Pole that sells for 20-25g at Auction House!I found five of these in an hour. It's best to be a warlock or to use some breathing potions.

If you right click on it, it should give you a special quest for a free pet chicken. You'll have to find an NPC that sells chicken feed. There is one particuarly in Westfall, the farm just south of Sentinel Hill. There's an NPC who sells the chicken feed. After, go back to the chicken and use the /cheer emote on it, give it the feed and it'll lay an egg. Click on the egg and it'll turn into a chicken!

Warlock: Easy kills
When you are a Warlock, use your Fireballs and Drain Soul powers at a time on an enemy. You must do some quests to get some of these powers. REMEMBER: This works most, but not all, of the time.
-
Warrior advantage
Its usually easy to find instance groups because every group needs a tank.Armor drops that you need are only ever needed by you, shamans. You dont need to buy water. Warriors can beat any race.
-
Get to a high Enchanting level
Give away free Enchants, if people provide the materials or wait till you are over level 40 and have a mount and can use it. Then, buy lots of the same materials and repeatedly enchant the same item with the same enchant until it will not level you any more. Then, repeat the process. This will get you to a high Enchanting level quickly.
-
Character development
For Warriors and Paladins, choose their job as a blacksmith; this will increase their experience faster. For Priests, Warlock, Mage, or Shaman, choose healing abilities for their job, never choose blacksmith or fishing, as these will slow your experience.
-

This works easily if you have high experience in Herbalism, First Aid, Skinning, Leather Working, etc. Get the materials needed for what you want to make. For example, for First Aid, kill lots of humanoids for linen cloth, wool cloth, etc. Then, just sell the materials to an NPC. If you want more money (for example for Skinning and Leatherworking), make something out of the leather, then sell or auction it off at the nearest auction house.

To get lots of gold, go to Thelgen Rock, Wetlands: follow the road from Menethil Harbor east and go towards Dun Algaz. It will be on the western side of the road before you actually hit Dun Algaz. The spiders are lvl 22-23, easy to kill and there are tons of them both inside and outside of the cave.

Classes
Classes: Hunter (I saw this was forgotten): Best soloing class because of the ability to have a pet as a personal tank, at high levels can destroy any class, has a large array of de-stealth, freeze, and murder abilities. They do not have a amazing dps magic abilities, but they are very well rounded. Paladin: They have great Melee yet they can also heal. They may have trouble controling mana usage but they are tough to kill. A great class now that they can be used by the Horde. Shaman: I like to saw that they are like a combination of multiple classes. For example, they can cast, summon, transform, melee, buff, dual wield, increase speed, have 2 hearth stones, walk on water and so on. But they are the only specialty class (others are paladin and possibly walock) that cannot get a free mount (I think they should have some sort of shiny kodo). Rogue: They have the best melee and best stealth they have a wide variety of techiniques and are great for PvP , they can dual wield at lv 10 but they can only wear leather. Druid: Can transform into speed mode, tank mode, and stealth mode (they r hated for this) they can heal and do great nature damage but they cant rezzurect very well. Warlock: Have the coolest abilities EVER, they can DOT and they have demons but they are clothies and cannot heal Mage: they are the best DPS and crowd control period! Preist: ALWAYS wanted for groups best healers EVER and can still do DOTS yet they r the physically weaskest class Warrior: these things never die but they have become not so good over time they can stun and beat you into a pulp in 3 seconds they know plate and can use any weapon.
